Semaglutide is primarily known for promoting weight loss and may offer additional health benefits such as improved blood sugar control, reduced cardiovascular risk, reduced inflammation and potential improvements in liver function and kidney health.

Semaglutide works as a GLP-1 receptor agonist, mimicking the hormone GLP-1 in the body. It regulates blood sugar by stimulating insulin release and slowing gastric emptying. HCG therapy for weight loss involves administering small doses of (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, which is a hormone women produce during pregnancy.
